We always knew that this position wasn't a long-term job for Jon, and we just got word that we'll be moving in August. We'll be heading back to Texas...in August...kill me now!!! The heat and humidity will be unbearable in August. NOT looking forward to the move itself, but I am looking forward to being back "home" near my family. But boy will we miss living up here! There's so much to do in Northern Virginia! And the weather is AWESOME!!! And our friends...oh how deeply they will be missed! Makes me want to cry!!!
We had already planned our Southern States Tour for the month of August, so once we leave VA for that trip, we won't be coming back. We were supposed to leave August 4th, but I think we're going to leave in late July so we can get down there, start house hunting, and hopefully close in late August/early September.
This won't be official until it's announced within the company sometime in mid July, so if you know me IRL or on FB, please don't mention it publicly. The move is happening, but no one is really supposed to know except our inner circle until it's been officially announced with the company.
Let the chaos of selling a house, cleaning out closets and the garage, and selling our car (because we've upgraded to a minivan!) begin!!! UGH! Can't I just fast forward???? Who has a time machine??? lol
