Adoption Tax Credit Petition

Please sign this petition to help adoptive families get the financial support that is so desperately needed to expand their families and help give many deserving kids a home full of love and security. We were blessed to be able to use the tax credit under the Bush tax cuts for both our girls' adoptions.  We were able to use about $6500 of it (coupled with money from Jon's employer) for Little Bit's adoption b/c hers was much less expensive, but it replenished the money we took from our savings to fund her adoption. We were thankful for that credit b/c Chipmunk's adoption came MUCH sooner than we epected it to, and that money was desperately needed! We used the entire tax credit for Chipmunk's adoption, and it only covered about 1/3 of what we paid. Yes, private and international adoptions are THAT expensive!!

The Bush tax cuts are set to expire very soon, and will not likely be renewed. Please take a couple minutes to sign this petition to make this a PERMANENT sourse of financial help to those who are opening their homes to kids who need one!
