Another Dr Visit

I had Chipmunk back at the dr today. Her wheezing and coughing is getting worse despite multiple neb treatments with Albu.terol. Add to that, her left ear is now infected even after being on an antibiotic for her right ear, and being told yesterday that her left ear looked beautiful. We have additional meds for her neb treatments along with a steroid to get the inflammation down, and we'll use that to keep her well from now until her surgery. She said she's not going to say she has asthma yet. She thinks that the gunk wasn't completely taken care of from the last time she had it earlier this month. And she believes that there has been inflammation in her bronchial tubes all along, and when you add the drainage, it's a recipe for wheezing and coughing. Once we have the tubes and as she "grows into her face" to help the ears drain properly, if she still has the wheezing with her colds once we get into cold season then we might be looking at asthma. But for now, we're just going to try and get her well and keep her well for her surgery. poor baby!
